Trough Blocks Algaecide is designed to control algae and slime growth in stock water troughs, helping maintain clean and usable drinking water for livestock. The slow-release block adds copper to the water, assisting in the prevention of algae build-up in suitable systems.

Each 200g block treats up to 7,000 litres of water and typically lasts 2–4 weeks depending on conditions. The block should be replaced once slime or algae begins to return. Note that it should not be used where copper toxicity may occur, and care should be taken in sensitive environments.
