How does Advocate work?
Advocate uses two active ingredients, Imidachoprid and Moxidectin, to kill parasites by hindering their neurotransmissions. This means fleas are killed on contact, so pet’s don't suffer painful bites, reducing the incidence of flea allergy dermatitis. Advocate not only kills adult worms but also the larval and immature stages of roundworms and hookworms. 99% of fleas are killed within 12 hours.
