Welcome to Woonona Petfood and Produce, the Illawarra’s number one pet and produce store. Woonona Petfood and Produce was established in 1997 by locals Dennis and Brenda Gamble, and has been a proudly family owned and operated business ever since.

We opened our doors 22 years ago, as a small shed on the Princess Highway in Woonona, selling mainly horse and livestock food. In 2010, we outgrew our little shop in Woonona and moved all operations to Bellambi Lane so we could continue to offer our customers the best range of pet and produce products in the Illawarra. We are now one of the biggest Independent Pet Speciality stores in Australia, catering for animals of all shapes and sizes. We love pets and it is our passion to enrich the relationship between Australian pet owners and their happy and healthy pets. Our experienced and highly trained staff are pet experts, who provide our customers with reliable advice and good, old-fashioned customer service.
In 2019, we expanded our operations online and now offer our products to be shipped Australia Wide so we can help pet parents from all around the country meet the needs of their pets. In addition, we offer Free Same Day Delivery in our local Wollongong area to accomodate for those pet parents with busy lifestyles. Since the very beginning, Dennis, Brenda and the entire team at Woonona Petfood and Produce have been dedicated to providing you and your family with the highest quality pet products and best brands at affordable prices, so you can take great care of your pets. We may have grown in size since we operated out of a little tin shed, but our customer service team is still as friendly and helpful as they always have been, and are available almost always to help you in any way possible.

Dog Wash
Did you know we have TWO self service dog washes? Bring your dog into one of our fully enclosed hydro baths for a quick scrub after the beach or for a complete wash and dry. The price starts at $10 for 10 minutes, which includes everything from warm water, shampoo, conditioner, flea and tick rinse and blow-drying.
Puppy School
At Woonona Pet Food and Produce, we understand the importance of giving your Puppy the best start to life! Enrolling in a puppy school will help to develop good behaviours and new skills, as well as creating an opportunity for your puppy to socialise with other, likeminded puppies!
