How It Works

Supershine Black works by creating a protective layer over the hoof wall. It seals out excess moisture and helps to harden soft hooves, promoting healthy hooves. Importantly, it does not penetrate the surface of the hoof wall, so it will not cause damage. The polish can be easily removed with a hoof polish remover or will naturally rub off after a week, as the horse carries out its normal activities in the stall, paddock, or pasture.
