Mr Fothergills FOT Radish Long White Icicle produces long white radishes with a mild flavour. This quick-growing variety is an easy and economical crop for home gardeners. It is ideal as a catch crop between slower-growing vegetables and grows well in containers and raised beds.

Sow seeds thinly in autumn or winter, 6mm deep and 25cm apart in rows. Thin seedlings to 3-5cm apart once the second leaf appears, repeating every two weeks as needed. Radishes are typically ready to harvest in 4-6 weeks when roots reach around 15-20cm long and feel firm.
