Mr Fothergills FOT Chicken Foraging Mix
Mr Fothergills FOT Chicken Foraging Mix
Mr Fothergill's FOT Chicken Foraging Mix is a hardy blend of annual and perennial greens designed for free-range chickens. The diverse seed mix provides essential nutrients and amino acids while encouraging natural foraging behaviours. It is ideal for providing enrichment and supporting social interaction within your flock.
The mix is suitable for rotational grazing and can be sown virtually year-round, avoiding the hottest and coldest months. Scatter the seeds thinly or sow at 2–3g per square metre. Keep chickens away until plants are established and reach 5–10cm high. After grazing, move chickens to another area to allow the plants to reshoot.
