This easy-to-apply, water-resistant spot-on treatment works by killing adult fleas on your cat and breaking the flea lifecycle by targeting immature flea stages in the environment. It also helps manage flea allergy dermatitis, making it an excellent choice for cats with sensitive skin.

The dual-action formula contains Fipronil, which kills adult fleas and lice, and S-methoprene, an insect growth regulator that stops flea eggs and larvae from developing. Fipronil may cause fleas to become more visible before they die, as it makes them hyperactive before taking effect.

Frontline Plus is safe to use on kittens from 8 weeks of age and on breeding, pregnant, and lactating cats. The treatment remains effective even if your cat gets wet, making it ideal for cats that are occasionally bathed.

How It Works

Frontline Plus combines two active ingredients for broad-spectrum protection. Fipronil kills fleas and lice by affecting their nervous system, while S-methoprene disrupts flea development, preventing reinfestation.

Directions

Part the fur between your cat’s shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the applicator on the skin and squeeze out the entire contents. Apply once a month for continuous protection.
