Originating from the soft, slow-flowing waters of the Amazon Basin, Cardinals are happiest in well-planted aquariums with shaded areas, driftwood, and stable warm temperatures. They are highly social fish and thrive in schools of six or more, where they display their most vivid colours and natural behaviours.
