Fantail Goldfish have a rounder shaped body with a double tail that fans out from their body. Goldfish vary in size and colour and can live for up to 20 years. Fantail goldfish are a wonderful community fish and best kept with other cold-water fish such as barbs, loaches, and comets. Goldfish do best at between 21 and 26 degrees and do not usually require a heater in the coastal regions of Australia. PH should be maintained between 7.2 and 7.5. They are extremely personable and delightful to watch.
