Filled with high quality filter media including three sponge pads and a super bio chamber, this pressurised filter provides thorough mechanical and biological filtration to remove debris and support beneficial bacteria. The weatherproof UV-C ballast unit is separated from the filter by 10 metres of cable, exposing filtered water to UV rays that kill harmful bacteria and waterborne algae for crystal clear results. When it comes to cleaning, simply flick the dial to activate the easy backwash function, which cleans the filter without removing the media and minimises disturbance to the colony of beneficial bacteria within.
