Apparent Alternative is a natural contact weedkiller used for non-selective control of seedling and young broadleaf and grass weeds, as well as suppression of established weeds and perennial species. It also controls Moss and Algae, according to the directions for use. This herbicide contains pelargonic acid (nonanoic acid), which is naturally found in plants like geraniums. It works by causing the foliage to dehydrate and collapse, with results usually visible within hours of application.
