Advantix for Medium Dogs (Blue) provides fast-acting, waterproof protection against a range of external parasites including fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, sandflies, stable flies, and lice. Specially formulated for dogs weighing between 4kg and 10kg, this spot-on treatment kills fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours of application.

When used fortnightly, it controls deadly paralysis ticks, and when applied monthly, it repels and kills brown dog ticks, bush ticks, and biting insects. Advantix also helps manage flea allergy dermatitis and breaks the flea lifecycle by targeting both adult fleas and their larvae in the environment.

This easy-to-use treatment is safe for puppies from 7 weeks of age and can be used on pregnant and lactating dogs. However, Advantix is toxic to cats—keep cats separated from treated dogs for at least 48 hours.

How It Works

Advantix combines two powerful active ingredients—Imidacloprid and Permethrin. Imidacloprid targets and kills fleas by disrupting their nervous system, while Permethrin repels and kills ticks and biting insects by affecting sodium channels in the parasites' nervous systems. Together, they provide broad-spectrum protection and prevent re-infestation.

Directions

Part your dog’s fur at the shoulder blades to expose the skin. Apply the contents of one tube directly onto the skin, avoiding contact with the fur. Use fortnightly for paralysis tick prevention or monthly for general protection.
