Description

Laucke Mills Red Hen No. 17 is a premium quality layer food formulated to be fed to all classes of laying poultry. This high specification diet is nutritionally balanced for essential nutrients such as protein, energy, vitamins, and minerals necessary for high rates of lay and large egg size. Linoleic acid is included in the diet at a minimum of 1.2% for enhanced egg size. Red Hen No. 17 is manufactured in the No Grind Crumble form to reduce selective feeding and yet still offers hens large grain pieces which they prefer. This is a medication free diet.

Perfect for fussy little bantams

At last…. A layer crumble!

Easy to find a grower crumble but a layer crumble not so.
My bantams are too small to manage a layer pellet but this crumble is just right for them AND it doesn’t turn to dust which means they enjoy the smal pieces.
I have tried and wasted many brands but this one is just what they love.
It stays firm and fresh and there’s an I interesting choice of grains for them to enjoy.

I have tried many other feeds before, but i find Red hen 17 pretty good, as my chickens lov eating it and don’t waste anything 😃
